Call of Duty 7: Black Ops is currently under development by Treyarch to be published by Activision for PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and Nintendo Wii, with a Nintendo DS version under development by n-Space. The game is slated for a November 9, 2010 release date.
there is no call of duty 7 everything was just a rumor i know this coz i done lots of research on it and there is defenilty not a c.o.d 7
This is Activision’s biggest franchise. They’re not gonna not do it. Currently, they have three development teams working on various Call of Duty projects.
I hope it’s a modern warfare 3 or something like taht, not again world war 2. Modern warfare 2 is the best game ever what they have made! I have played modern warfare 1 to but that graphic was bad.
I have played all 6 call of duty’s so far and I got bored of w.w.2 because 4 from 6 are based there. I don’t know if cod7 is based on Vietnam war and I don’t hope so. I expect that it will be modern warfare 3.

cod7 will be made by treyarch again as it alternates between treyarch and infinaty ward so it will resenble WAW though in all fairness i believe that they need to look back a basics. cod4 was outstanding, WAW had its faults but still not a bad game and MW2 for me is quite poor, the prestiging is to high, the shotguns are patheticly unrealistic and personally for me they have lost some of what made COD4 so good. back to basics i hope. COD7 is not modern warfare 3, it is treyarch the one that makes WW2 games and they are gunna place the game somewhere in the past…

Call of duty modern warfare 2 is by far the best game made by activision. It will also probably be the best cod ever made. I just hope if they do make a another world war game or something quote back then I just hope it has close to if not like the same graphics as cod:MW2 nothing like WAW hopefully

guys.. call of duty 7 is going to probably be around WAW 2 because its treyarchs turn, and sadly, there company isnt that good. MW2 and MW1 were REALLY good and i think they should pick up the pace in making CODs because who cares if ur not ready with ur prestige. U DONT HAVE TO PRESTIGE and some of us just want to play a new COD and finish campaign and just play online. Prestige loses all ur weapons, challenges, perks, etc so whats the point of getting all those all over again? i agree with COD maniac tho but dont be surprised if COD7 is pretty much a disappointment.
personally i hope it is waw2 or something along them lines, waw was alot better then MW2, MW2 is way to busy above and on the ground, and plus it takes way to long to prestige, i hope they bring nazi zombies back as i really miss that cod is not the same without it
well i only just played cod 6 just recently at my freinds house and i think its a awesome game and i think that it’s better being modern rather than WW2 because the guns are quite frankly look alot cooler and are alot better and maybe more people with play the modern warfare but at the moment i only have WaW whick is a great game but i like modern warfare 2 better and the prestiges are about the same beacuse on modern warfare 2 u can get up to 300 xp per kil, but with WaW u can only get 15-50 points per kill unless ur on a cheat server

i hope you guys realize that when this game comes out by treyarch, zombies will return. i am almost positvie, because in der reise it says we will be back in german on one of the walls.
modern warfare 2, dont get me wrong, is good, but these 2 major faults just ruined it for me
1. tactical knife: tactical knifing ruined this game, and it seems as though more and more people keep using it. in every game i play, i find at least 3 tactical knifers, and they are almost impossible to kill. i want a war game that actually is what is going on in the real war, and i know that there arent people running as fast as they can knifing people. these people have completey ruined this game.
2. shotuguns are soo overpowered and ridicolous, simple as that. too many shotugnners.
I honestly cant wait for this game to come out. i really miss world at war and i miss zombies soo badly
for now i guess ill just have too play MAG starting tuesday.
If this game is made in vietnam and doesnt have insane killstreaks and model 1887′s I must say it will be my favorite call of duty hands down.

This Vietnam cold war is ******* *******.
They should let Infinity Ward to develope MW3 or something like that, in the modern era with weapons which we have seen / used in Modern Warfare 2, with the old characters like Nikolai, the old man Cpt. Price, and you being with Soap or any other old MW2 character.
It should be more extreme than MW2 (the boat chase, the mountain scene, underwater scene) and so on… Infinity Ward could make it happen if you ask me.
Probably the major part of the call of duty fans want to see another modern warfare, and not some old world war crap.
My 2 cents, i don’t care who will go against my words.

Not that the modern warefares were bad, but I like the WW2 games alot better. Don’t get me wrong, I liked MW1 and i want MW2, but I think a vietnam era game would be very cool. Or a WW1 game(But I don’t think that’s going to happen)

I think everything on WaW was amazing. I think a Vietnam era would be awsome and a success. I DO NOT want another mw. It’s basically the same thing. You can change WW2 because it was such a big war. Mw is still going on and with all the “rules of war” everything is the same. An ancient warfare would be cool too.
Its being made by Tryarch not infinity ward so it will be something to do with world at war not mordern warfare

I hate it when they fix glithces in mw2 like the care package glitch i found it out on youtube went into a private match with some of my friends and it worked and it was awesome then that day i go on and they just fixed it. but it works, when u care package glithch u need a care package and on thee second time i didnt get a care package but it showed up and it acted as it was a uav and I HATE UAVS THERE ONLY GOOD IN SEARCH AND DESTROY. i just got 100 points why did they have to fix that glitch for the ps3 on version 1.09

Hope they fix the lag. Mw2 wud b a great game. I don’t think they even game tested it. The guns are to strong one or two bullets n I die. The knife is rediculous wether its commando or tactical. How does someone knife from 20ft away? Or knife as they are takin bullets? How does a shotgun shoot through body armor? And y did they get rid of jugernaut n put in painkiller? Just stupid to me. Also the spawn points suck. If you clear an area a guy shouldn’t spawn after u move on or turn ur back. Very unrealistic. You want to make a good game let me test it n ill show you where you went wrong. Good ideas if they we’re done right. LAG… finaly lag should get better as the games go not worse. Mw has less lag than waw and they both have way less than mw2 keep it simple. If that’s wut it takes to get rid of lag. I’m tired of the bs of kids without skill getting lucky. Keep the game simple n fun, many people bought the game but home many still play it regularly. Next time infinityward puts out a game ill rent it b4 I actually buy it.
i think that MW2 is a great game. and treyarch will not be a modernized warfare game it will go back in time to vietnam or cold war or something of that sort. hopefully treyarch will take there time and make this game as good as MW2 and not like WaW. a whole new zombie mode would be enjoyable too
well treyarch will have to make a war game that already took place like the cold war or the vietnam war. they have to make it realistic if they are going to go for a goal that big.

Cod 7: vietnm wouldn’t be so bad. Maybe a good story line? Not too many perks, take the ‘pro’ out. 2 perks for one, so cheap.

They should make call of duty 7 about what would happen if the soviets and Americans got into a war. Make more than one nuke go off durin the campaign. But take the nuke out of multiplayer,make the perks simple and not pro. You’ll have one kick ass game! Also make the knife less unrealistic, maybe a vehicle or two on the bigger maps, such as a derail or bog type. Again, you’ll have one kick ass game!

United Offensive was the best cod ever…if you dont think so…..think about this. What cod game has bigger maps than united offensive? NONE. Fact is that United Offensive is the only cod game that can stand next battlefield games. United Offensive had also tanks, and jeeps…it was a lot of fun. If you dont know about this game than you are clearly not a cod gamer. CoD games in the future need to get bigger cause bigger is better. battlefields in reality are huge arent they…they sures hell dont look like a sand box right? so there. If CoD doesnt wake the hell up battlefield games will always win in the long run. Look at BF2…more alive than EVER! wheres CoD1 or CoD2? dead and Im sad about it cause Im a cod1 player. WaW was poor, Cod 4 and 6 are great, both have gitches, bad points and unrealistic weapons (i.e shotguns, bullets going straught through riot shields and what not) but non the less both awesome games…. bring on cod 7

Waw was by far better than mw2. I would love to see more real war games, not this fake future war. American revolution would be awesome, the guns would suck but the story would be awesome. WWI would be great. Vietnam would be ok. Korea would be cool. Civil war. Maybe cod: historic battles like Alamo. Maybe a ww2 game that follows the 101st airborne like band of brothers easy company with interviews and video of the men who fought there.
I think that te call of duty 7 should have something like a bonus level at te end of the game. like call of duty world at war”nazi zombie”. but this time at least let 4 people play without xbox live or system link, on the same xbox 360. i think yall should put new guns and 4 players coop play in story mode.

Personaly zombies for me is the best ever game mode ever made and i cant wait for treyarchs next cod game for im sure it will have zombies.
Also someone i know works for IW and apparently mp2 for cod 6 is alien terrorist mode with captain price, mactavish, nikolai(the one of cod 4 and 6) and Ghost.
I think the cod after by IW should be future warfare because with cod 4 and 6 being about the same time its just different maps .

Ya mw stories are great but mw2 copied some of mw1 like the mission No fightin in the was room, the gulag copied sum of that. I like all cods whether its past or present. Vietnam would be cool. I also would like to see ww1 maybe as it would be harder to kill as weapons are less advanced. It would be great in a ww1 game too if there was a mission in Dublin at the 1916 Easter rising and Michael Collins’ revolution.
Also, i agree with COD expert, if it’s Treyarch, which it is, they’ll do co-op campaign, which is great! Also i agree with cod expert when he said the prequel of mw1, they could maybe bring Price into the vietnam and the cold war( remember the mission with him in Chernobyl with another guy). They could mix it up alitle:D

I agree with most of what u said except bringing Price into the Vietnam war, first of all hes gonna be only about 10 years old at that point, second of all, i would like to see new captains and generals, etc.
call of duty 7 will be great i like world at war myself until the poor little babys cried and got the tanks out. they need to make maps where theres vehicles… and who cares if people cry over a tank get to it first. mw2 all there is is shotguns and tac knifers, but i still like that game. world at war was a more realistic war game honestly.

Treyarch should stripped with the right to even make call of duty it’s proven that Infinity ward are so much better. Cod4 was Awsome. Campaign was alright but online very good. Mw2 Campaign was sensational a shame about noobs on freeruner classes with overpowered shotguns for the online play.

I would like to point out a few things.
1. This would not be call of duty 7, due to there actually being 10 games altogether with the name ‘Call of Duty’. So that means that this would be number 11 in the franchise.
2. I have seen a comment saying that this is ‘Activisions’ biggest franchise. It is actually ‘Infinity Wards’ biggest franchsie due to them having made the first ever Call of Duty, and owning the rights for the name.
3. I have heard that this game will not be made due to IW removing the rights to use ‘Call of Duty’ from Activision and have threatend to sue them if they make a game that is based in vietnam.
P.S. I would like to clarify that my first two comments are comppleatly true. However, my thrid comment is based on rumors and information that i have heard.

Ok let’s get some facts straight. MW2 is a fail for COD4 lovers. MW2 has way too many things going wrong for it. Let’s make a list: commando, heartbeat, dangerclose, boosters, headquaters pro, shotguns and machine pistols as secondary, lightweight, nukes, tactical inserts, and all the hackers. Leaderboards don’t even matter anymore. They need to go back to basics. Don’t get me wrong MW2 has some good ideas I like the pro perk ideas. But the next game just needs to listen to the community and bring back the COD4 acog.

The simpler formats are easier and make it esasier for noobs it is a more level playing field and less dominated about the lvl you are.
